An excerpt from the biography of Samantha Willey Call, Paco's grandmother.
"In January, 1905, these good people consented for Aaron (her husband) to take a..mission to England...With the burden of five small children and the responsibility of getting to her husband $30.00 a month and maintaining the home...she bade farewell to her beloved husband. In the annals of history no woman has ever felt more keenly the need of implanting in the lives of her children God-like principles and riviting firmly in their young minds a testimony that God lives...Through whispered prayers, bedtime stories, high ideals, and always a vision of their hero-father, this mother taught her children to worship, making the very warp of their souls." After 27 months of service, Aaron came home. Years later she was in a car accident that left her semi-invalid for the rest of her life. "The one outstanding characteristic of (Samantha) was the constant vigilance she kept with her Heavenly Father, depending implicitly on Him on all occasions and every circumstance for the performance of every activity of every day...Her motto was 'Whatever people may think of you, do that which you believe to be right.' She also had the gift of expressing herself in writing...having written many beautiful poems.' "
Children, you have solid gospel roots.
